Empowering youth through agriculture, leadership, and land stewardship in San Luis Obispo County.
Support Our VisionThe specific purpose of the Rooted By Generations Foundation is to provide financial support, grants, educational opportunities, and resources to youth participating in agricultural programs, livestock projects, trade skills, and community leadership.
We are currently finalizing plans to lease property in San Luis Obispo County for our Community Project Farm. This dedicated space will be the heart of our foundation, providing a supportive environment for local youth to raise animal projects.
Many youth desire to participate in livestock programs but lack the necessary space. Our farm will bridge that gap, offering the land, mentorship, and resources they need to succeed.
We plan to offer a diverse variety of projects, starting small and expanding our reach as our foundation grows.
The core focus of our Community Farm will be supporting youth raising market and breeding animals (cattle, horses, sheep, etc.). We will provide individual pens and shared resources.
Future development will include plots for community gardening and sustainable crop stewardship programs.
We visualize expanding into educational workshops focusing on vital trade skills related to agriculture, such as welding, fence building, and equipment maintenance.
We believe in removing financial barriers for motivated youth. Our foundation will provide grants to support project costs, including:
